Location
A small island - 16 acres- off the coast of Efate Island, where Port Vila is situated. A bus or car transfer to the wharf and hotel's boat transfers guests onto the island (5 a short time). Boat goes across to the 'mainland' on demand, 24 hours. White sandy beaches and clear water surround the island. A few a short time drive to stores in central Vila and Le Lagon resort is near the wharf.

Each accommodation is a bungalow, scattered around the island. Each has tea or coffee makers, fridge, fan, iron and ironing board. There are no phones or TV's in the accommodation to spoil the tranquility. Patios are perfect for evening cocktails. Bathaccommodations have a shower and hair dryer. All accommodations have 1 King size bed and a day bed.

Restaurant
Roxy's on the Lagoon is an overwater restaurant and cocktail bar, serving international style food. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A great spot for 'get away from it all' holiday. Water sports hut by the boat ramp.

Location
Located 2 km to Port Vila Town Centre, on the way from the the Airport to Vila. Vila is 2 and a half hours flying time from Sydney and has an extensive range of restaurants, activities and numerous island adventures including good diving. The hotel is Melanesian in style and is situated on Port Vila Harbour Bay, on a white sand beach, 10 a short time walk from the centre (5 mins by taxi or bus).

There is no restaurant, only a small cafe by the pool where breakfast may be taken. Most people staying here would self cater or receive delivery from nearby Vila restaurants. A Chinese restaurant is within walking distance.

The resort offers a complimentary 24 hours ferry service across to the island (3 a short time each way). Vila is the capital of Vanuatu and is on the island of Efate. The Kaiviti is only a 12 a short time drive from Bauerfield airport, just off the main road with a supermarket and a restaurant nearby. The town of Port Vila is only 10 a short time walk.

The Melanesian Hotel is also offering 24hr accommodation service for guests of Kaiviti, where meals and accommodation service can be charged back. There are varied restaurant close by.

Small privately run property, nice and clean. They do not accept children under 18, as it is an adults only property. Recommend bringing beach shoes suitable for walking on the nearby coral beaches, especially when the tide is out.
