Location
The hotel is set back from the main road away from any major settlements. It is near the train stopping route and bus routes and is very well placed for hiking.

Rooms
Rooms vary in size but are generally modern and in good condition. Older accommodations are quite large and rambling with much sepia and faded fixtures. Emphasis is on autumn colours.

Restaurant
The restaurant is in the basement but on the ground level. It is quiet with a faded elegance, airy with high ornate ceilings.

General
The hotel is considered to be the best in town.
