Location
Located in the colorful region of Keong Siak Street and on the fringe of Chinatown, the buildings consist of pre-war store houses (aptly named after its build date, 1929) which is the alternative to the ubiquitous glass and concrete modern hotels.

Rooms
The hotel has managed to marry the old with the new. The accommodations are definitely modern with white walls, flat panel TV and white bedding. The finishing are a cut above hotels of similar standards. The chair is a refurbish European designer original from the owner's collection. Bathaccommodations are an all glass affair with no screens. The accommodations are furnished in either single or double only bed configuration (no twins) so is couple friendly. For the bold, the rooftop penthouse suite offers an outdoor bathtub for al fresco baths. Despite it size, the hotel has a deck with Jacuzzi in the back.

Restaurant
The restaurant Ember, in keeping with the mod look of the hotel exudes quality and style in both the food (European with Asian touches) and style. It is fine dining experience but without the pain on the wallet.

General
Can be arguably described as a designer boutique hotel. It is Singapore's newest little hip hotel and is setting the standards in a very contrastingly old neighborhood. Couple and gay friendly, it is also for young and trendy at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Located within walking distance from historical Little India, the hotel was built on a conservation plot with its surrounding old store houses. Next door is the world famous electronics super mall Sim Lim Square. Across the street is the charms of Little India and about 10 a short time away is the 24 hrs Mustafa Shopping centre also famous for its electrical goods. The MRT stop is Little India and is about 5 a short time walk to connect to the rest of the island.

Rooms
Rooms are brightly lit with muted colors. There are hints of the local Malay and Chinese influence on the doors and furnishing, including the old style round brass switches and teakwood furniture. The windows overlook either Little India or the city. Bathaccommodations are furnished in white with pretty pastel tiles and equipped with shower baths. Amenities include an in-accommodation safe. Windows are soundproofed. Although all accommodations are air conditioned, a ceiling fan is standard for that tropical feel.

General
This hotel is classified as boutique 3 star hotel. It represents old world charm in an exotic setting and yet accessible to the surrounding attractions be it shopping or sightseeing.

The hotel is situated on Victoria Street in what is known as the civic district. So called because it was the seat of the colonial government. Within the region one can find some historical architecture like the Raffles Hotel, the National Museum, the Arts Museum, CHIJMES, St Andrew's Cathedral, the Archibistores residence and several churches. Conveniently situated 5 a short time from the City Hall MRT station.

Rooms
Rooms look oriental with rosewood furniture and red carpets. They are medium in size with a writing desk. Rooms have been refurbished with new carpets and bedspread.

Restaurant
The hotel has a cafe where daily breakfast is served. Located on the ground floor, the entrance is almost under the escalator. A very utilitarian cafe with simple decoration.

General
A highly recommended hotel in the superior tourist category. Providing excellent value for money and a good location within walking distance to Raffles Shopping Centre, Bugis Shopping Centre and Marina region.

The accommodations are very well appointed with pastel colored walls and European themed furnishing. Some accommodations are irregularly shaped due to the original floor plan.

A deluxe French restaurant, reputed to be one the best in Singapore-L'Aigle d'or.

General
Due to its location and pricing, it is an experience in itself to stay in one of these refurbished storehouses. Chinatown is about 10 a short time walk away and there is no shortage of nightlife from the pubs around.

Rooms have been recently fully renovated. The total revamp of the accommodations have transformed the hotel to latest interior designs. Rooms are done in modern style in white with full height windows, new bed, furniture and bathaccommodation. Bathaccommodations are in white with massage shower head. Voicemail and LAN connections are standard.

Restaurant
The cafe on the ground floor serve Thai buffet and local and Western ala carte. Breakfast is served here every morning. The terrace serves al fresco gourmet coffee and snacks. There is also a small bar in the lobby. All public region are WiFi enabled.

General
Hotel has a rooftop swimming pool with a cityview with a new glass wall enclosure and Balinese gazebo. The gym and sauna also on the rooftop also offer views of the city. This hotel presents the best value for money for your stay in Singapore as it offers a ideal locations to all regions, the MRT and places of interests. A highly recommended hotel.

Located in Little India on Serangoon Road, the hotel is smack in the middle of the exotic Indian community where the streets are alive with the sights, smells and sounds, day and night with bazaars, stores and markets.

This is a budget hotel that provides simple accommodations with adequate furnishing. Rooms are bright and the bathaccommodations are standing shower.

Restaurant
There is very utilitarian breakfast region in the basement but no proper restaurant.

General
A budget hotel situated in the more exotic Little India.
