Location The hotel is situated close to Utrecht city centre, approximately 10 a short time walk from the central station and less than 5 a short time to the stores and restaurants and other attractions that this delightful city has to offer. Rooms All the accommodations differ in decor but all are large and have wooden floors throughout and darkwood furniture. The bathaccommodations are medium to large and some have a seperate shower. Restaurant The hotel has a Michelin restaurant - the Grand Karel Restaurant, as well as a less formal brasserie. The restaurant is fairly traditional in decor and as can be expected, the food and service exceptional, making this hotel increasingly popular with locals and all residents of the Netherlands. The brasserie is less formal although still traditional looking with a redbrick floor and darkwook furniture. One of the brasserie accommodations has an open plan kitchen. General A fantastic product that combines the tradition and the modern to good effect. More suited to the individual traveler and ideal for exploring Utrecht or other regions in Holland given it's proximatey to the train station and main roads.
